Part of the Boundaries series, a series of mixed-media paintings exploring the mental health effects of different aspects of culture and society on women. 'Thanks, I Already Saved Myself' addresses the gendered tropes of women needing a knight in shining armor (or a hunter/lumberjack), not just to save them, but for them to heed and exist for. But also, there's the added frustration of not having much in the way of real and useful support outside of that context.
